Guide · Madrid-Barajas
The private side
of Barajas.
Private flights from Madrid do not use T1–T4. They depart from a separate executive aviation terminal on the south side of the airfield.
Where it is
The Terminal de Aviación Ejecutiva sits in the south zone of Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas (MAD), postcode 28042, apart from the commercial terminals. Private traffic has used it since February 2013, when business aviation moved from Torrejón.
Who handles your flight
Handling is mandatory, through one of the handlers at the terminal. Those named in published sources include Sky Valet (Gestair), Jetex, Universal Aviation and General Aviation Service. Your operator chooses the handler; we confirm it with your itinerary.
Hours, slots and customs
Jetex lists Madrid as open 24 hours. Every movement needs an airport slot, which the operator requests. Passport control and customs for international flights are handled at the terminal. (Jetex Madrid)
What about Torrejón?
Torrejón (TOJ), about 24 km north-east of Madrid, is a joint military and civil base. Since 2013 most private charter uses Barajas; Torrejón is the exception, not the rule. (Jetex Madrid-Torrejón)
We give you the exact meeting point, timing and access with your confirmed itinerary.
